About me
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for video games, animation, and cinematic game trailers. One day, I asked my brother, “How do you think they create all these things?” He pointed me toward a path that would change my life. Instead of just playing games, he encouraged me to learn how to create them. And that’s how it started. Before I even went to university, back in 2010, I began learning the CryEngine game engine.
I quickly fell in love with cinematics. My dream was to create animations and game trailers like the ones unveiled every year at GDC. I wanted to tell stories and bring worlds to life just like the studios I admired. But, well, I live in Iran. It’s incredibly difficult to build a career and earn a living from a field that has little future in this country, especially when you come from a family that isn’t particularly wealthy. Pursuing a passion is one thing; building a future around it under these circumstances is another challenge entirely. Since 2010, I have been learning and working with game engines and digital content creation. I started by building games and eventually joined a professional game development team in Tehran, which led me to relocate there.
At the studio, I worked as a level designer, creating and shaping gameplay environments. The team had also seen my personal cinematic projects, including trailers for 3D environments and experimental animation pieces. As a result, I was given the responsibility of designing and directing in-game cutscenes and cinematic sequences. However, financial realities eventually forced me to put some of my dreams on hold. I needed a more stable career path, so after leaving the game industry, I entered the corporate world. During that time, I focused on building financial stability, investing, and starting a family. Today, nearly fifteen years have passed since I first began this journey. Even while working full-time in other industries, I never abandoned my passion for 3D art, visualization, and digital creation. Over the years, I have continuously expanded my skills and mastered a wide range of tools and technologies, including Unreal Engine, Unity, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, and Substance Painter. I have worked with numerous clients on a variety of projects, ranging from industrial product design and 3D modeling to game environments, visualizations, cinematic sequences, and promotional trailers.
